Spectre Review
The Spectre is designed with an ambidextrous body that is very comfortable and stylish. Beware: people with big hands, this mouse is smaller than it appears in the photos. The Spectre portrays the Blizzard-themed universe very perfectly, Razer did a nice job to give this mouse an epic space-age look. The lights on the mouse is very sleek, and oh, they are functional.

The lights goes from red to green in-game depending on your APM. Also, the lights can be customize, but by default, the mouse sits at a nice blue idle, and will flash red when your base is under attack.

Putting that aside, the light does not really provide any-real world benefit, you don't really need a mouse to tell you how hardcore you are based on your APM.

What's cool about the Spectre is that it allows you to change the clicking pressure of the mouse button. It provides an edge for gamers by increasing the click response, perfect to annihilate your enemies at a faster rate.

The Spectre is an excellent gaming mouse for RTS gamers, it works well for FPS games too, but does not provide that significant benefits towards MMOs. If Starcraft is on your playing list, then you should give the Razer Spectre a go.
