50-50
Sony Internet TV
5 Things to Like and Hate
Likes
1. United We Stand: no longer is whats on TV, and whats on the Internet. These two elements finally merged as one, once you start typing characters, the Sony Internet TV will start looking for matches everywhere, in the cable program guide, the Web, the DVR, apps, all hits listed ot clearly and are very easily scrollable and selectable.
2. Watch and Surf Simultaneously: titled Dual View, Google allow users to surf the Web while still watching TV. For example, user can watch a football game, while checking the fantasy league stats. User can Tweet while watching their favorite shows. The  idea is to mimic and reduce watching TV with a laptop to just a single screen that can do both things at once.
3. Unified Devices: In order to do system-wide content searches, the system has to know what's connected to it. During set-up, the system will locate and identify all the connected HDMI gear, especially the cable/satellite box to incorporate the on-screen guide into interface and the DVR.
4. Eight-Foot Surfing: Web surfing, either from within the search function or using the Google Chrome app, is a pleasure. It looks, well, just like the Web on your desktop, except most of the text is large and easily readable from eight feet away.
5. All Play No Work: Not a single mention was made of productivity applications for the TV - no email, word processing, spreadsheets, or anything.
Hates
1. Bad Remote Control: Seriously?
2. Dual View A Little Too Small: This is a TV — the interface shouldn't monopolize the screen. In Dual View, the TV picture is relegated to a tiny barely watchable PIP in the bottom right corner.
3. Dual View Isn't the Default View: A very disappointing mis-concept.
4. TVs Are Too Small: 46-inch model is the biggest Sony has to offered, somewhat still considered too small in the world of HDTVs.
5. Too Thick: These are really really really thick HDTVs.

2. No SD Card: Not like its necessary, but it would be one nice extra. But as always the on-board memory has 16GB, 32GB or 64GB.
3. Semi HDMI-Out: Apple is never slow to sell its accessories, the Digital AV Adapter can charge the iPad while still able to project its screen onto the projector screen with a very high resolution of 1080p or 720p for videos.
4. A Must-have Accessory Appears: The Smart Cover is selectable in many colors, it is a cover that will stick on front of the screen as a protection magnetically, which it can also auto-open or auto-sleep the iPad2 automatically also. It also functions as a mini-stand. Price is expected to go through the roofs though.
5. Amazingly Thin: With thickness of only a mere 8.8mm compared with the iPhone 4 of 9.3mm, almost feels like a rerun of the Biggest Loser. In other news.
6. iOS 4.3 Adds New Tricks, But Flash is Still Missing: Surfing the Internet via the Safari browser is faster thanks to Nitro Javascript engine that is said to be twice as fast than before. But still lacking Flash!
7. Lighter Weigh: Weighing at just 601g compared to the iPad1 at 680g.
8. Twice as Quick: A5 chip on the ARM system, dual-core, ensures faster speed. In other news, the iPad2 comes in black or white edition, battery life is still at 10hr, more apps and is able to do Home Sharing to transfer files from PC or Mac that has iTune to the iPad.
