- Even dust, hair and bread crumbs stop the tracking
Imperator Review
The Razer Megasoma combines the softness of a typical soft mat while still offering the speed of a hard mat, somewhere along that line.
The Megasoma is a silicon-white mat which makes it easy to fold. Razer has been nice to give a hard case that comes with the mat. it even grows in the dark, emitting off a sleek green ambient glow which is the Razer logo, although it fades away very quick. The whole lighting thing doesn't really enhance the gameplay experience, just for show.
In term of accuracy, the Megasoma is top-notch, just be careful not to let any dust or hair get on the surface as it can stop jammed the mouse movement.
Personally, there not a lot to say about the Razer Megasoma, the price tag is quite high, the mouse gets dirty very easily and the surface wears off very early in its lifespan. This is one of the hardest mouse mat to review, whether you really need it or not, its up to you.
